Ups and Downs

First of all, before I go any further, apologies for lack of updates this week. Just couldn't find the time to do it i'm afraid. I start this week's blog on a high. Sky One has announced the new series of prison break will air just ONE DAY after it's US debut. Sky is famous for airing shows a week after their US release, but one day is truly something. ITV this week saw massive Saturday night ratings with the start of the new series of X-Factor. Even though we all know some sob-story will win it who had a troubled childhood, or who has lost their favourite puppy, whilst Bleeding Love is played over them performing in black and white slow mo, we all still somehow watch it. 11m of us watched it on Saturday- but are we really that bothered who wins? Let's face it, after the hilarious audition stages are finished, what's the point? We know they'll have a xmas number one and we'll never hear from them again (Leona the only exception). Elsewhere in the TV world, Eastenders' bad ratings period is getting better, and soon viewers will be treated to a bit of real drama, rather than full frontal shots of Roxy Mitchell for most of the episode. Talking of saucy characters in soaps, sexed up Rosie Webster has filmed a rather steamy scene with her just in her undies ready to be broadcast this month. Roxy and Rosie... Do the old men of this country need anything else other than soaps? The new spooks spin off has received a bad reception, despite having great figures for the first two episodes, with many people shocked that they have been less pleased than they were with Bonekickers. What do these people want!? I found both series great- leave your comments on the Your Coments page.
